At Holden Park Pre-school we believe every child is unique and talented in their own special way. Through play, our professional, dedicated and caring staff promote each child’s learning and interests.

We respect that parents are our children’s first educators and we hugely value our strong partnership with parents. Parents and carers are welcome to participate at the nursery and we actively encourage an open and respectful relationship between practitioners and our children’s families.

It is important to remember that you know more about your own child than anyone else.
Staff will ask you regularly about your child and share information with you about their progress. Information from home about your child’s interests,achievements and challenges which happen outside school will be encouraged, valued and noted.
Staff will actively welcome your involvement as parents at every level.

We are pleased to be using an online learning journey, called Tapestry, which gives parents and carers more opportunity to shape and add to their child’s journal.
