Holden Park Day Nursery & Pre-school is located within the town of Southborough, Tunbridge Wells.
Over the years we have established close links with the local community including the library, parks and the local church. We are in close proximity to the ever popular Southborough Church of England Primary School making our Breakfast and After school clubs ideal for children and parents.
We are passionate about creating a beautiful and challenging learning experience and environment for all the children in our care.
We see the early years a preparation for life and a very important foundation for everything which follows.
Our nursery is a wonderful place where children PLAY, LEARN and GROW .
Education and care in Holden Park is based on the ideology that children excel by participating in an environment where children and adults learn from each other and with each other.
For babies from 6 months to 2 years, our baby room is a warm, nurturing space where they have a chance to learn and grow.
This is where we learn everything we need to know about your baby. Our baby room can hold up to 6 babies and is run by a fantastic team of highly experienced and qualified nursery practitioners. The activities planned for in this room include a range of sensory play opportunities. Messy play, water play, cookery, arts and crafts.
We understand the apprehension that some parents may have when their baby starts nursery. Our team of dedicated staff will continue to follow home routines within the nursery, providing a consistency of care that ensures your child feels happy and secure.
Joining Pre School is an exciting moment in a child’s learning, preparing them for the journey into school. Our Pre School room is set up with a role play area to enhance opportunities for the wealth of imaginative play that this age engage in. There are activity trays on for the children to select and explore independently to develop fine motor skills in preparation for school. There are also lots of creative media set up for the children to select that allows them to develop independence and provides opportunity for their own creative ideas to flourish. All mark making experiences are important steps in developing strength in their fine motor skills and control to assist learning to form letters as they reach school age.
Pre School has a free flow area that allows the children to access the outdoor area.
Free early education for 2-year-olds.
Holden Park Pre-School provides funded and non-funded spaces for children from the ages of 2 till school age, fostering the governments Free for 2 (FF2) initiative.
